Understand the landscape of digital marketing, including set up of accounts, strategy, reporting and sales.
Learn the platforms and tools that you will use to grow your business.
Organize your digital assets and information.
Build your team roles and responsibilities.
Get your business online with a Google Business Profile.
Discover your audience.
Define your measurement plan.
Develop your online brand story.
Refine what you are selling and how to get discovered online.
Learn about developing a content marketing plan.
Discover the logistics of running your business online.
Learn about analytics and industry report development.
After the successful completion of this cohort learning program, participants will also receive a FREE laptop to help them reach their digital business goals.

Bridging the Digital Divide – Southwest is proudly offered by Michigan Women Forward, a nonprofit community development organization whose mission is to expand economic opportunity, empower the next generation, and celebrate and honor the accomplishments of Michigan women. Its vision is to create an inclusive economy for the state of Michigan.
The 6-month program consists of weekly 90-minute virtual sessions. An in-person Welcome & Orientation will kick off the program from 9-10 am. on July 9, 2024, in the Southwest Detroit area.
How to apply
This free business development program is open to Southwest Detroit-based entrepreneurs (see below for qualifying neighborhoods) interested in building their digital business skills. Applicants must have businesses that have been operating for at least one year.
Qualifying neighborhoods:
48201, 48216, 48208 Mexicantown, 48209 Hubbard Richard, West Vernor-Junction, West Vernor-Lawndale, and Delray, 48210 Michigan-Martin, Springwells.
Application deadline is 5 p.m. EST on June 27, 2024. Space is limited, so apply TODAY. The deadline has been extended to June 21st.
