Note: This program is only for Flint entrepreneurs. 

Michigan Women Forward / Women's entrepreneurship initiative (WEI) seeking applicants for our six-month Bridging the Digital Divide workshop - Flint. MWF is dedicated to the growth of our entrepreneurs. 

MWF is a community development organization whose mission is to expand economic opportunity empower the next generation and celebrate and honor the accomplishments of Michigan women. 

Before completing this application, you are confirming your business has been established 2-3 years.

Course:

  • Part 1 – Infrastructure
  • Part 2 - Strategic Thinking
  • Part 3 - Reporting
  • Part 4 - Execution 

Through a generous donation at the end of this six-month program with 100% participation the entrepreneurs will receive a laptop. 

The laptops will have installed:

  • Shopify – create your e-commerce store
  • Microsoft 365 – includes Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with access to OneDrive cloud storage.
  • QuickBooks – is an accounting software package geared towards small and medium-sized businesses.

After submitting your application

Applicants are committing to four one-hour training sessions.

Applicants will be notified of receipt of their application and status in the process.
